My story starts on horseback, growing up with a deep respect for hard work. After over a decade working in the agriculture industry, I started this business in 2017 with a stubborn streak, a passion for craftsmanship, and more curiosity than know-how.

What followed was a real learning curve of online courses, hands-on workshops, and a whole lot of trial and error. I took on every style of furniture you can imagine, from mid-century modern to frilly antique. Then I found my stride in the rustic charm of Western and rural-inspired pieces. That’s when it all clicked.

In 2023, my husband and I settled on his family’s farm and the lifestyle that surrounds me now fuels everything I create. Out here, there’s beauty in the practical, elegance in the worn, and value in every stitch that tells a story.

At Blue Dog Fabric Designs, I don’t just upholster - I revive, rework, and sometimes rebuild. I specialize in restoring solid, story-filled furniture and crafting custom pieces like ottomans, pillows, and stools that feel right at home in a farmhouse, cabin, or country hideaway.
