At Blue Dog Fabrics, every piece is handmade with care, pride, and good old-fashioned grit. I pour time, skill, and heart into every custom project and product I send out and I stand behind the quality of my work.
That said, because these are custom-built and handcrafted items, all sales are final. Please be sure you’re fully committed before placing your order.

A Note on Craftsmanship
I’m a one-woman shop, working from my studio on the farm here in Alberta. Each ottoman, stool, vintage chair, and hide is made or restored with attention to detail and a deep respect for traditional craftsmanship. Over the years, I’ve shipped many orders and fulfilled plenty of custom requests and I’m proud to say I’ve never had a return request.
If something ever goes sideways, gets damaged during delivery, or there is a mix-up with your order I will do my best to make it right. That’s just how I do business.

Damages & Issues
Once your piece is picked up or delivered, it becomes yours and with that, you take full responsibility for caring for it. But before then, I ask that you inspect your piece upon arrival. If you notice damage, a defect, or received the wrong item, please get in touch with me right away so we can work together on a fair solution.

What’s Not Returnable
Due to the nature of my work, I do not accept returns or offer refunds on:
Custom furniture & upholstery work
Handmade ottomans, stools, and pillows
Vintage restored pieces
Cowhides and hair-on-hide products

Upholstery supplies
If there’s ever a concern about the structural integrity of your piece, I’ll always work with you to troubleshoot and find a reasonable solution.

Care & Usage Notes
The hides, fabrics, and materials I work with are all natural and unique. You may notice variations in hair length, markings, textures, or coloring, especially in hair-on-hide items. These aren’t flaws and they are  apart of what makes each piece one of a kind.
My pieces are made to be functional, beautiful, and sturdy but they’re not indestructible. Treat them with care, and they’ll age gracefully. Mistreat them, and like anything, they’ll show wear and tear over time.
